Mostafa Mahmoud      Nicknamed: in the media ''The Maker of Islamic Happiness". Al waad band: He established the musical troupe called Al-Waad (The Promise) years ago, and this troupe has acquired fame and popularity in the Islamic-style weddings, due to the humor, wit and presence of the troupe on stage before any audience.   Albums: He created nine albums until now, among them are the following titles: "O , My Way", "After The Silence", "A Big Heart", "Makers of Life", "Finally, We married Him Off", ''Make Us Happy" (the last two albums are used in weddings), "Allah Is the Greatest, In The Name Of God (1)", "Allah Is the Greatest, In The Name Of God (2)" (the last two albums are directed to kids). Our star:- * He loves singing in weddings. * He loves singing for kids. * His album titled "Makers of Life" is related to the project and TV program titled "Makers of Life". * He admits being lazy and indifferent to being highly connected with officials and making acquaintances with the big shots. In his opinion, this is the direct reason behind not airing any of his songs in satellite channels, although he is ell-known and he has many fans that loves his performance. He says that he likes it when a fan calls him saying that he/she was toughed by a certain song. * His fans accuse him of interfering too much in composing his songs and in its lyrics. He defends himself by claiming that this is his artistic vision and choice, as listeners would say this is the song/album of Mostafa Mahmod. He says: "Sometimes a lyricist would show me his work to choose from, and I would initially choose what would suit me, and the lyricist would make changes according to our discussion; at other times, I would tell the lyricist of an idea to make him write a song for me, like my songs 'Why Are You Silent?', 'Cry, Conscience Of The World!' and 'Tell you What'    As for the lyricists, he says: "Some of them are amateurs, and some are professionals, and I prefer those who are good at their profession as lyricists, and at the same time whose work is in accordance to my Islamic vision". * He has an exceptional work relation with the poet Salah Galal, who authored the following songs: "Warm Me In Your Embrace", "A Big Heart", ''Why Are You Silent?", "Happiness", "Makers of Life", "A Seed Of Hope", ''My Feelings", ''I Love Light", "What Is The Matter", and "The Volcano Of Awakening", among others. * He held many successful performances in El-Sakkia Cultural Center, and he was the first chanter of religious songs to perform there. * He sings in English and he sings Rap songs as well. * He loves change and variation in his music, themes, and artistic forms in the Islamic chanting. * He considers his art as his hobby, enjoyment and profession at the same time; yet, his artistic activity is not as financially rewarding as expected, but he commences in any artistic project as if it is his first. Teachers: He was influenced by many chanters, singers, and artists, in Egypt, in the Arab world, and all over the world. He is a mix of all of them, yet he has a distinctive artistic character that is easily recognized.
